Code of Conduct
A learning space where people can ask, try and be wrong safely.
This policy applies to the venue, event chat, registration, project repositories and every activity connected to Python for Public Data: Bhopal.
Expected
- Be considerate, patient and respectful.
- Use welcoming language and make room for different experience levels.
- Ask before photographing or sharing another participant’s work.
- Challenge ideas with evidence; never attack the person.
- Follow dataset licences and avoid exposing personal or sensitive information.
Not accepted
- Harassment, intimidation, discrimination or unwanted attention.
- Sexual language or imagery in any event space.
- Publishing private information without clear permission.
- Disrupting sessions or repeatedly ignoring organizer instructions.
- Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern.
Report a concern
You can speak privately to an organizer or email the conduct contact.
Reports will be handled discreetly. Share only what you are comfortable sharing: what happened, when, where, people involved and whether you need immediate help.

How we respond
Organizers may warn a participant, remove them from an activity, ask them to leave, restrict future participation, or contact venue staff or authorities when safety requires it. We will not promise an outcome before reviewing the report, but we will acknowledge it and act promptly.
